The Main and the Fowler Branch Library buildings are now open with modified hours and by advance registration after being closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Starting on 10/29/2020, the Main Library opens 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Fowler Branch Library closes between 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. daily for cleaning. The first hour of the day at both locations is reserved for senior citizens and at-risk individuals. Concord Stories from Special Collections is a new virtual series that highlights the rich holdings of the Concord Free Public Library Corporation’s William Munroe Special Collections through stories about Concord’s people and places from a variety of guests, including Concord residents, scholars, researchers, and curators. Our featured guest for the third installment of the series is Victor Curran, who writes, teaches, and leads tours of historic Concord.
