New Teen Lounge Is Now Open

To Our Teens - The Concord Free Public Library is thrilled to announce that the long-awaited Teen Lounge at the Main Library will be open for browsing, relaxing and studying, and spontaneous events beginning Wednesday, April 20th. The new space boasts multiple couches, two TVs, and plenty of chairs and tables for snacking; we welcome you to bring food and drink into the Teen Lounge! The well-lit and open space also makes browsing an easier experience than the previous Teen space. Additionally, there is enough room to accommodate both quiet studying and hanging out with your friends.

Newly appointed Teen Librarian Cary Stough, alongside other staff, is available to answer your questions about the new space, help you find your new favorite book, and share more information about how you can get involved with the library as either a volunteer or member of the Teen Advisory Board. Cary expects that a robust roster of Teen programs will begin in May or June. Stop by and visit the new Teen Lounge!
