Request a Title

Looking for an item the Concord Free Public Library doesn't own? Follow these steps in order to place a request:

Search the Regional Minuteman Library Network Catalog

Concord Free Public Library cardholders are eligible for free item delivery through the Minuteman Library Network. Available items typically arrive in about 3 business days. Some fragile or new items may not be elligble for delivery.

Search the Statewide Commonwealth Catalog

If the item you are searching for is not available in the Minuteman Library Network, you may place a request through the statewide delivery system, which includes the majority of public and academic libraris in Massachusetts. New items and current textbooks are typically not elligble for loan through the Commonwealth Catalog. Commonwealth Catalog loans are free to all Concord cardholders.

Search the National WorldCat Catalog

If you cannot locate your item in either the Minuteman Library Network or the Commonwealth Catalog, we may still be able to order your item through Interlibrary Loan from a library outside of Massachusetts. You can search WorldCat to see which libraries own the item you are looking for. To place a request, visit the Reference Desk at the Main Library or call (978) 318-3347 with the title, author, and ISBN. Interlibrary loans may incur a lending fee.

Request an Acquisition

If you are unable to locate an item through any of the above catalogs, you can request an acquisition via our online Suggest an Acquisition form.
