Stitch Circle

Join fellow knitting, crocheting, needlework, etc. enthusiasts for weekly social crafting. Help each other out of tough spots, share patterns and tips, and enjoy creating together.

Knit & Sip

Weekly Thursdays at 9:30 AM | Main Library | No Registration Required

Stop by the Workshop every Thursday morning for a cup of coffee and two hours of informal, self-guided knitting with fellow Concord crafters! Needles and yarn scrap swap available for new knitters. All ages and experiences welcome, but instruction is not provided.

Cookbook Club

Monthly Second Wednesdays at Noon | Fowler Library | Registration Required

Join Library staff to try and sample recipes from the selected cookbook of the month. Copies of our next book are available at both the Main and Fowler Library Circulation Desk.

Join Library staff to discuss the most lucrative genre in publishing: romance! From contemporary rom-coms to romantasy to Regency romance, we'll try an array of different subgenres. Fowler Afoot Book Club

Fourth Wednesdays at 10 AM | Fowler Library | Registration Recommended

Join Laura at the Fowler Library, then walk together on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will meet inside. The plan is to walk the trail for about twenty minutes and then turn around. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Afternoon Tea Book Club

Fourth Fridays at 1:30 PM | Fowler Library | Registration Recommended

Enjoy a selection of teas and discuss a blend of historical and contemporary fiction with Library staff and volunteers. Copies of our next book are available at the Fowler Library Circulation Desk. Please feel free to bring in food related to the recipe theme, but do not feel obligated.

Board Game Meet-Up

Come join a pickup board game or card game from the Library’s collection with Library volunteer Matt Ryan! Each month Matt will borrow a fresh couple games to have ready. You can also borrow what you want to play and recruit attendees into your game.
