  • Notary services are in high demand. Library staff will make every effort to reach out within 1 week of receiving a request. Patrons in need of expedited services should explore alternate options for notary services.
  • valid photo ID must be presented at the appointment in order to notarize items.
  • Up to 3 items per appointment can be notarized.
  • Documents must be in English.
  • Documents cannot have been already signed nor dated.
  • Notary service is not available for real estate documents, deeds, or mortgages.
  • If you need additional witnesses for your notary appointment, you must coordinate with them before your appointment. The Library is unable to provide witnesses on request. Witnesses will also need to bring a valid photo ID.
  • Notary services are only available at the Main Library (129 Main Street). Appointments are not available at the Fowler Library (1322 Main Street).
