Notary Services

  • The Concord Free Public Library has two Notaries Public on staff who can notarize up to three (3) items for a person at a time.
  • Users are required to make an appointment with the Notary Public in advance; no drop-ins will be accepted. To make an appointment, please fill out this form.
  • Upon receiving this form, the Notary Public will get back to you within 24 hours to set up an appointment. 
  • Please note, users must bring a valid photo ID with their current address at the appointment to have their items notarized. 
  • If you need additional witnesses for your notary appointment, you must coordinate with them before your appointment. The library is unable to provide witnesses on request. Witnesses will also need to bring a valid photo ID.
  • The document(s) CANNOT already have been signed nor dated.
  • Documents in any language other than English will not be notarized at this facility.
  • Notary service is not available for real estate documents, deeds, or mortgages.
  • Staff notaries are not attorneys licensed to practice law, may not give any legal advice, and may not accept fees for legal advice.
  • Please note that this service is available only at the Main Library and not the Fowler Branch.
