The Concord Free Public Library is searching for a Makerspace Coordinator for the brand new Makerspace. In honor of Juneteenth Day, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 10:30 - 11:15 a.m. in our Children's Library, come meet acclaimed children's author and historian Ray Anthony Shepard who will read from his newest book Runaway - The Daring Escape of Ona Judge, a picture book biography of Ona Judge, a young enslaved woman who escaped the family of George Washington. Ray Anthony Shepard is a grandson of a slave, a former history teacher, and retired editor- in-chief of a major education publishing company. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.
The Main Library will be hosting a Finals Study Day for Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) students on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Open for CCHS students only.

The Friends of the Concord Free Public Library's 2022 Annual Book Sale on June 11 set another record with over $32,000 in proceeds! The proceeds from the Book Sale will fund the Library programs, museum passes, eBooks, print and audio-visual materials, and staff professional development.
