New at the Library: Citizen Science Kits
Wed, April 10, 2024Celebrate Earth Month by borrowing one of the Library's brand new Citizen Science Kits! Each kit comes with everything you need to collect real scientific data and submit them to environmental research and advocacy organizations across the country, including NASA and the National Science Foundation.
Introducing Brainfuse CollegeNow and HelpNow
Tue, February 13, 2024We are pleased to introduce Brainfuse CollegeNow and Brainfuse HelpNow - two e-resources from Brainfuse. In-Library access is available to all. Remote access is available to our Concord residents with a library card.
Music from the Library Series 2024
Sat, February 10, 2024Music from the Library presents three concerts in the Library rotunda in its 2024 spring season: February 24, March 16 and April 20. All concerts are Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. The doors open at 7:00 p.m. Free admission. Registrations are required and open two weeks prior to each concert. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.

Gingerbread House 2023 Is On Display
Fri, December 01, 2023Dr. Andrea Resciniti's giant gingerbread house 2023 is on display in the Main Library Lobby through Sunday, January 14. This is the 29th gingerbread house Dr. Resciniti, a surgeon at Emerson Hospital, has crafted and donated to the Concord Free Public Library since 1993. The freshly baked gingerbread house contains 31 batches of gingerbread and weighs over 100 pounds. We thank Dr. Resciniti for her time and generosity.
2023 Holiday Book Sale
Thu, November 09, 2023The 2023 Holiday Book Sale takes place in the Goodwin Forum of the Main Library on December 1 & 2, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and December 3, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. The Book Sale is full of nearly-new or gently used books, movies, and music CDs for adults and children. Come for your holiday shopping and have a fun time. Sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.

Mon, October 30, 2023The Minuteman Library Network launched a new online catalog on November 1, 2023. Highlights of the new features include view all formats of a title under one search research result; browse new titles and spotlighted titles; manage your physical and digital holds and loans all in the same account; and easily create and save lists.
