Are you looking for an item that the Concord Free Public Library does not own?

Please check the catalogs listed below in the following order:

  1. Minuteman Library Network

The Concord Free Public Library (CFPL) is a member of the Minuteman Library Network, a consortium of 36 public libraries and 7 academic libraries. If CFPL does not have a particular item, you can request it from another library in the Minuteman Library Network and have it shipped to your library free of charge. There are some exceptions, however, such as reference titles and newer DVD releases, which are not requestable.

  2. Commonwealth Catalog

If the item you are searching for is not available in the Minuteman Library Network, your next search should be in the Commonwealth Catalog. This catalog searches other library networks and many academic libraries within Massachusetts. There is no fee to request items through the Commonwealth Catalog.

  3. WorldCat

If you cannot locate your item in either the Minuteman Library Network or the Commonwealth Catalog, we may still be able to order your item through Interlibrary Loan from a library outside of Massachusetts. You can search WorldCat to see which libraries own the item you are looking for. Please stop by the Reference Desk at the Main Library or call (978) 318-3347 with as much information about the requested item as possible, such as title, author and ISBN, and we will request the item on your behalf. There may be a charge, depending on where the item is coming from.
