Dr. Andrea Resciniti's giant gingerbread house is on display in the Main Library Lobby throughout the month of December. This is the 25th gingerbread house Dr. Resciniti, a surgeon at Emerson Hospital, has made and donated to the Concord Free Public Library since 1982.

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The goal of NaNoWriMo is for budding novelists to write 50,000 words by November 30. Drop by the Fowler Branch at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on November 3 & 10 or the Main Library at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.on November 17 & 24 to write the next chapter of your book. Open to all.
