Throughout its distinguished history the Concord Free Public Library Corporation has been the grateful recipient of countless gifts of rare books and manuscripts, artwork, family papers, and historical artifacts from loyal and generous patrons. These gifts, arriving in ones, tens, or thousands, have enriched our collections immeasurably.

After close to 150 years of growth, our collections have matured, becoming both broad and deep in scope.

We continue to build these collections, honoring our responsibility to promote the mission of the Library and to preserve the cultural heritage of Concord.

Constraints of space and staff time, however, require us, like most libraries, to structure and focus our collecting energies.

Special Collections deeply appreciates your interest in donating materials.

Please call for the details about giving art, manuscripts, book collections, etc. to the Library by contacting Special Collections at 978-318-3342.
