Meet Our New Curator Anke Voss
A reception in honor of Anke Voss, the Concord Free Public Library's new Curator for the William Munroe Special Collections, will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the Trustees' Room. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
Anke Voss joined the Concord Free Public Library staff as the new Curator for the William Munroe Special Collections in early October 2019. Anke received both a B.A. in History and an M.A. in United States Political, Social, and Women’s History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Anke completed her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives and Preservation Management at the State University of New York at Albany. With work experience that spans both academic and public libraries, Anke has served as the Director of Archives and Special Collections, and Facilities at the Urbana Public Library (Illinois) since 2005. Additional expertise that she brings to this role is as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s School of Information Sciences where she has taught a course entitled Administration and Use of Archival Materials; Community Archives since 2006.
