Taking Care of Our 19th Century Periodicals Exhibit
Currently on display in the Main Library's Main Street entrance exhibit case is a new exhibit entitled Taking Care of Our 19th Century Periodicals which highlights the special attention we give older magazines in our Basement Collection. Using Godey's Lady's Book as an example, you can learn how a damaged volume is preserved, with details on paper conservation. The exhibit is prepared by our library's Book Conservator Luisa Granitto.
