Spring into West Concord with Flamingo Bingo
On Saturday May 17 from 10 AM - 3 PM, Spring into West Concord! Enjoy sidewalk sales, plant sales, art exhibits, crafts, music, and more! Get ready by finding the flock of flamingos that have landed in the neighborhood, this year inside and outside of businesses and other organizations.
Flamingo Bingo
The Library is partnering with West Concord Village Community, the West Concord Junction Cultural District Committee, and Art for All on this year's scavenger hunt: FLAMINGO BINGO! (It's not really bingo, but we couldn't resist the rhyme!). Artists at Art for All have transformed plastic flamingos, and they're hidden throughout West Concord. Starting May 5, pick up or print out one of two scorecards and then search for flamingos!
How to Play
- Get a Scorecard. There are TWO (2) scorecards with entirely different flamingos.
- The all hours scorecard has flamingos that are visible whether stores are open or not. Find them outside or in the windows of stores.
- The open hours scorecard includes some hidden flamingos. Can't find one from outside? Visit during open hours to search!
- Find the Flamingos. You can fill out one or both scorecards (one copy of each per person!). The completed scorecards will serve as your raffle tickets.
- Submit your Raffle Ticket. Submit your raffle at Fowler Library. If you need to turn it in after hours, simply put it in the book drop. Don't forget to include your name and contact information!
- Celebrate the winners! The drawing will be held at the West Concord Poetry Phone at 2 PM on May 17. All winners will be notified the following week.
Many thanks to West Concord businesses for offering prizes for the raffle!
