In-Person Fall 2022 Poetry at the Library Series
Join us for two in-person Poetry at the Library afternoons with award-winning poets who will read from their recent collections and engage in a Q & A about craft, influences, and their writing lives. Books can be purchased before and after the reading. Conversation, light refreshments, and book signings to follow. This series is sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library.
On Sunday, November 20 at 3:00 p.m., Concord resident Brian Burt and Boston-based Quintin Collins offer us the replenishing spirit of the natural world and Black Joy, its inner life. Library doors will open at 2:40 for this program. [Register]
On Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m., former Concord resident Helena Minton and Maya Janson of Western, MA celebrate the wild contradictions and joys of life and the everyday moments and meditations on the past, especially the bonds of mothers and daughters. [Register]
