Great Reads from Great Places

Concord Library is participating in the 2026 Great Reads MA program, sponsored by the Massachusetts Center for the Book. At Fowler Library, join Building Community Book Club on Monday 9/21 at 12 PM or Fowler in Fact on Wednesday 9/23 at 11:30 AM for discussions of this year's title, Nothing More of This Land: Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity by Joseph Lee. All are invited to a virtual Q&A with the author in the Goodwin Forum on Tuesday, September 29 at 6 PM. For details and registration please see cfpl.info/events.

Copies of the book are available at Fowler, including free giveaway copies while supplies last. The ebook and eAudiobook are available to download from Libby. Thank you to our Great Reads MA partners for helping promote these Concord events: The League of Women Voters of Concord Carlisle, the Concord-Carlisle Human Rights Council, the Concord Visitors' Center, and the Concord Museum. Continue your exploration of Massachusetts Indigenous identity at the Concord Museum at their free Indigenous Peoples' Day Family Program with the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers on Monday, October 12 at 10 AM.
