Is the Library accepting book donations?

Due to the COVID-19 safety concerns, we are unable to accept book donations at present inside the Library. However, thanks to the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library, two new Donate Books bins have been installed in the Sudbury Road parking lot across from the Main Library for the convenience of book donors. Please place your book donations in the bins. If you find the bins full, please come back another time as they are emptied weekly. Thank you for your generosity to the Concord Free Public Library.

How long is the Library closed?
The Library is closed until further notice. Town leadership will determine when the Library, as a Town department, can safely reopen.

I don't have a library card. How can I get one while you are closed?
Register online for a temporary Minuteman Library Network card. The temporary card will give you immediate access to select resources, including ebooks, audiobooks, and video via OverDrive (Libby). After we reopen, please visit any Library location with a picture ID and proof of address to get a full-service card. Massachusetts residents may also register for a Boston Public Library eCard, which will allow them to use all BPL online resources including OverDrive and Hoopla

My library card is expired. Can I renew it while you are closed?
Yes. Please email your requset to CFPLquestions@concordma.gov.

What is my PIN? How can I reset it while you are closed?
You can reset your PIN at https://library.minlib.net/pinreset

What library resources are available from home?
We offer e-books, audiobooks, music, movies, magazines, and online learning resources via our online eResources at concordlibrary.org. While many are available to all Minuteman Library Network card holders, some are limited to Concord residents. Massachusetts residents may also register for a Boston Public Library eCard, which will allow them to use all BPL online resources, including OverDrive and Hoopla.
