Direct-To-You Home Delivery Service Is Back!

The Concord Free Public Library is pleased to announce the relaunch of its home delivery service, "Direct to You". This free program is being reintroduced after a pause due to the COVID-19 lockdown, and it aims to provide convenience and accessibility to library resources for those who may not be able to make it into the physical buildings of the Library.

The Direct-to -You program is available to all Concord residents holding a valid Minuteman Library card. With a simple phone call to the Library Circulation Desk, residents can set up their accounts to indicate their preference for home delivery. Once enrolled, a dedicated team of our Friends of the Library volunteer drivers will ensure that requested items are delivered directly to patrons' homes within three to four weekdays, provided the items are available.  Deliveries will typically be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Patrons may opt to have this be a permanent account change or simply a temporary tool during a short period without transportation/ability to get to a Library building.

The relaunch of the Direct-to-You service is made possible thanks to the generous support of our Friends of the Library. We thank them for their volunteer assistance and for funding delivery bags.

Whether it is books, magazines, DVDs, or other materials, the Library's extensive collection is now just a phone call away.

To enroll in the Direct-to-You program or for further information, Concord residents are encouraged to call the Main Library Circulation Desk at 978-318-3301. The Library staff will be delighted to assist in setting up home delivery service accounts and answering any questions.
