Celebrating the Art of Edward Waldo Emerson

This exhibition features a rare selection of works by Edward Waldo Emerson, son of Ralph Waldo Emerson, including many pieces on loan from private collections on view here for the first time. Also included are several paintings, sketchbooks, and his palette from the Concord Free Public Library’s William Munroe Special Collections, which also holds Edward’s papers

The Ralph Waldo Emerson Memorial Association presents this exhibition in collaboration with the William Munroe Special Collections of the Concord Free Public Library. The project is supported by the Concord Cultural Council and the Concord Center Cultural District, with funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
