Dedication of the Goodwin Forum With An Address By Doris Kearns Goodwin

The Trustees of the Concord Free Public Library Corporation are proud to officially dedicate the new Goodwin Forum with very special guest Doris Kearns Goodwin. The Goodwin Forum, named in honor of Doris Kearns Goodwin and Richard Goodwin, is a multi-use programming space that will foster civic engagement, historical scholarship, intellectual growth, and a love of learning. This "hybrid" event will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Goodwin Forum and on Zoom. Registration for the in-person option is full. Rom “Con”: Romance Festival at the “Con"cord Free Public Library

Come hang out with some of your favorite authors: Blair Babylon, Kate Canterbary, Loretta Chase, KD Fisher, Peggy Jaeger, Julia Kent, Caroline Linden, Sarah MacLean, Namrata Patel, Weina Randel, Hannah Reynolds and Evelyn Richardson on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on the Main Library front lawn and in the Goodwin Forum. This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library and the Concord Free Public Library Corporation as well as the Friends of Ashland Public Library. Concord Ag Day Concert with Tader Shipley and Maxfield Anderson

Concord Ag Day presents a bluegrass concert with Tader Shipley and Maxfield Anderson on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the Main Library front lawn. The duo will be joined by Hazel Royer (bass/voice) and Max Petersen (banjo). Sponsored by the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library in partnership with Concord Conservatory of Music. No registration required. Open to all.
