Application Forms and Instructions

The Charles Williams Scholarships for Excellence in Music and Visual Arts are awarded on an annual basis by the Trustees of The Concord Free Public Library Corporation.  

Steps to Submit an Application and Required Artistic Submissions

Step One:

If interested in submitting an application, send an email to Williams@CFPLCorp.org with your focus in the subject line (i.e. Music or Visual Arts).

This email will notify the Committee of your interest and they will send you a link to a Google folder to upload your artistic submission requirements.

If you have not received a response from us within three (3) business days, please contact Development Director Sofia Ghannam at sghannam@cfplcorp.org or 978-318-3356.

Step Two:

To complete the Charles William Scholarship Application, click on the link below that applies to your interest. We STRONGLY suggest that you download the application in PDF format (see applications on left navigation), save down to a Word document and complete the application first in this format, then copy over your answers to the online Google forms (Google Form for Music and Google Form for Visual Arts). This provides you with a final copy for your records. You must complete the application in one sitting as Google currently doesn't support the option of saving/returning to the form for additional input. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email from Williams@CFPLCorp.org.

Step Three:

Upload all required artistic submissions to your Google folder. Once you have successfully uploaded all of your files to the Google folder, kindly send us an email at Williams@CFPLCorp.org notifying us that your application submission is complete.

Deadline for submission of applications: Friday, May 3, 2024. All submissions for The Charles Williams Scholarships are digital. If this creates a hardship for you, please reach out to Library Corporation Development Manager Sofia Ghannam at sghannam@cfplcorp.org. Winners will be notified via email no later than May 31, 2024 unless otherwise specified by The Williams Committee.
