About the Artist: Ivan focuses on watercolor. He started his appreciation for the arts growing up in NYC, where he studied at the Brooklyn Museum and the School of Visual Arts. Ivan completed a degree in technical communications from Northeastern University and spent his professional career working in high tech. Ivan has taught watercolor at the continuing education program at Lexington High School. He has taken classes at Concord Art with Marjorie Glick and Caleb Stone. He has also studied figure drawing at the Emerson Umbrella. Ivan enjoys the challenge of sharing a compelling story through his paintings.

Recent exhibits include juried shows at the New England Watercolor Society and the internationally juried show at the Fitchburg Art Museum co-hosted with the Eco-Nuclear Solutions.

Ivan has a studio (375) at WESTERN AVENUE Studios, 110 Western Avenue, Lowell, MA.

Open Studios are the first Saturday every month, from 12:00-5:00 p.m.
