To all whom it may Concern –

This writing witnesseth this sixth day of November 1834 between James Derby on the one part and Calvin C Damon on the other – That in Consideration of the sum of Eighteen Thousand dollars to be paid as is hereafter described the said James Derby does sell unto the said Calvin C Damon the following property situated in the Town of Concord in Mass. Viz. – All the premises described in a Deed given by Elisha Parks & Thos. Lord to said James Derby also a certain [parcel] of Land adjoining containing about One Acre and a House thereon also Eight new Spinning Frames and all the Machinery and Fixtures included in the said Derby’s purchase of said Parks & Lord and also all the improvements made by said James Derby on the premises —

The terms of agreement are as follows Warrantee Deed to be given January 1. 1835 Interest to commence at that date – Six Thousand dollars in Cash to be paid the first January 1835 Note given on demand endorsed by James Johnson at the option of said Derby a mortgage on the whole purchase to be given for the balance which shall be paid as follows. Twelve hundred dollars of the principal annually and the Interest on more of the principal annually at the Option of the said Damon all rents of the Estate to accrue to said James Derby until Apr 1. 1835 after which to the said Calvin C. Damon.
