Organization. Each building has a series of story pages, showcasing items in the CFPL collections that illustrate the building's history. Each of those pages may have additional detail pages. Popup windows allow you to see the detail while still seeing the story page. Other details are displayed on separate pages. There are also links to other resources on the Library's website.
Navigation. From each story page, there are links to the next and previous pages, as well as to detail pages. There are also links to other areas of the Library's website. There is also a link to the story index, providing a thumbnail of the image for each page.
Viewing. The pages are designed to the latest web standards, tested on Internet Explorer 6.0 and Firefox 1.5, as well as validated through the W3C. Javascript is used to open the popup windows and collect page statistics. If your browser settings block javascript, you will not be able to benefit from the popups. You might change your settings to allow javascript, at least for this session.
I saw the popup but when I click on it again, I can't see it
The popup may still be on your desktop, but under another window. If you don't close the popup, clicking on that link will not open a new window.
