Robbins-Mills Collection of Herbert Wendell Gleason
Photographic Negatives, 1899-1937

Concord Free Public Library — Special Collections

PROCESSING NOTES

Captions for images described in the finding aid are Gleason's and were transcribed from the original enclosures in which he stored his negatives.

Some of the film negatives were deteriorated to the point where it was doubtful as to whether the images would reproduce on microfilm. A sample of ten film negatives, showing different stages of deterioration, was brought to NEDCC for evaluation and a test run. The test results were favorable and most of the negatives were kept for microfilming.
