Family History: Items belonged to descendants of the George Wheeler line of Concord Massachusetts.
Esther Howe, born on Oct 17, 1768, married November 22, 1789, mother of Elizabeth Wheeler. Elizabeth Wheeler died January 23, 1877, mother of Elizabeth Gibbs. Elizabeth Gibbs is the grandmother of Donald Crowell.
Mrs. Charles Alfred Hubbard (Nancy M. Wheeler Hubbard) was born March 6, 1827 to Elisha and Eleanor Wheeler married Charles Alfred Hubbard on November 27, 1845, and died on March 17, 1885. Charles Alfred Hubbard was born on October 9, 1820 to Cyrus and Susanna Hubbard and died on April 21, 1889. Elbridge Wheeler, sister to Nancy M. Wheeler was born on October, 31, 1832. He married Susanna P. Wetherbee on March 23, 1867 and died on December 10, 1878.
Scope and Content: This collection consists of six items, three family Bibles, two pieces of woven linen, and a letter. Items of note: two of the family Bibles contain detailed family history information.
