Added portrait in Vol. 2, Pt. 1 of William Taylor Newton’s extra-illustrated copy of the large paper edition of James Elliot Cabot’s A Memoir of Ralph Waldo Emerson (1887).  Newton’s Cabot is from the Newton/Emerson Collection (part of the CFPL Concord Authors Collection).  Gift of Edith Emerson Forbes and Edward Waldo Emerson, 1918.
