Book Sales & Donations
Thank you for you interest in donating books! Since we are not able to collect books in the library, we have partnered with our online bookseller to allow patrons to donate books while the library receives a portion of the proceeds. You may donate books in the book donation bins that have been placed in the parking lot adjacent to the Sudbury Road entrance to the library. If you find the bins full, please come back another time as they are emptied weekly. --- Updated 10/23/2020
Dear Patrons - Due to the COVID-19 safety concerns, book sales in 2020 have been cancelled. In-library book donations are not accepted until further notice. However the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library have arranged two "Donate Books" bins installed in the Sudbury Road parking lot across from the Main Library. You may donate books in the bins. If you find the bins full, please come back another time as they are emptied weekly. Thank you so much for your generosity to the Concord Free Public Library. --- Updated 9/23/2020
The Friends of the Concord Free Public Library sponsor two major book sales a year. They are the June (first Saturday) Book Sale and the Holiday Book Sale in December (first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month). Books are for sale on the Friends Book shelves at the Main Library and the Fowler Branch on a daily basis. Book donations are accepted throughout the year at the Main Library. Please check with the circulation desk if you need assistance locating the drop off area. The Friends needs volunteers to help sort donations throughout the year and fill the many jobs on the sale days. Please contact the Friends at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer. For the next book sale date, please visit Event Calendar.
