Record volume, 1861-1865.
From Concord Soldiers' Aid Society Records, CFPL Vault Collection.

This page in the Concord Soldiers' Aid Society record volume shows the contents of two of five boxes packed by the local society and sent to the New England Women's Association for the United States Sanitary Commission on January 3, 1863—bandages, bundles of cotton and linen, shirts, underwear, outerwear, and other articles of clothing, slippers, pillows and pillowcases, towels, comforters, soap, checkerboards, jellies, and spearmint.  The remaining three boxes of the shipment (listed on the following page) contained raspberry vinegar, tamarinds, blackberry vinegar, dried apples, and "hospital stores."
